How can we help you?
-
For your child to appear in the app, two conditions must be met:
Your child must be included in the latest list of students using school transportation provided to mTransport by your school organization.
Your child must be linked to the email address you use to sign in to mTransport in the latest data provided by your school organization.
If you do not see your child in the app, they may not be registered for school transportation, or the email address you use to sign in to the app may not be associated with their school record.
If your child was previously visible in the app but no longer appears, they may have been removed from the school transportation list, or your email address may no longer be associated with their school record.
Please check this information with your school or the organization responsible for planning your school transportation. You can find their contact information in the Contacts section of the Parent app.
-
The mTransport team is not responsible for school transportation registration. To register your child for transportation or verify transportation-related information, please contact your usual school transportation contacts. Their contact information is available in the Contacts section of the Parent app.
-
The mTransport team is not involved in school transportation planning and cannot make changes to bus stops. For any questions or comments regarding school transportation operations, please contact your usual school transportation contacts. Their contact information is available in the Contacts section of the Parent app.
-
The mTransport team is not responsible for distributing student bus cards. However, you can find a copy of the card in the app that you can print yourself.
To obtain a new physical card, please contact your usual school transportation contacts. Their contact information is available in the Contacts section of the Parent app.
-
Notifications sent by the system depend on the use of the mTransport Driver app. In some cases, the driver may need to make stops in a different order from the route planned by the school organization, which can affect the notifications you receive.
You can report this issue to the mTransport team, who will follow up with the transportation provider and the school organization.
-
The school organization responsible for your school transportation manages the communication settings for each route. If the app indicates that notifications are disabled and you would like to comment on this setting, please contact your school organization. Their contact information is available in the Contacts section of the app.
-
To notify the driver that your child will be absent, use the dedicated absence feature in the Calendar section of the app.
An absence can be reported as long as the vehicle has not started its route.
-
The mTransport team is not involved in the day-to-day operation of school transportation and cannot assist with items left on the bus.
Please contact the transportation provider operating your child’s bus.
-
The mTransport team is not involved in the day-to-day operation of school transportation and cannot handle complaints regarding drivers.
For any comments or complaints regarding school transportation operations, please contact your usual school transportation contacts in the Contacts section of the Parent app.
-
If your email address has been updated in your child’s school record, sign out of the app and then sign back in using your new email address.
-
Open mTransport Parent and select Menu → Contacts to find the contact information for the school organization responsible for your school transportation.
-
Contact us when the issue appears to involve the technical operation of the app itself, such as an error message, a feature that is not working, or a display issue.
For any questions regarding your child’s transportation — including registration, bus stops, routes, schedules, vehicles, drivers, or transportation operations — please contact your school organization instead (mTransport Parent → Menu → Contacts).
Understanding how mTransport Parent works
What is the mTransport Parent app used for?
The mTransport Parent app primarily allows authorized contacts of students enrolled in school transportation to receive notifications regarding the progress of their child's vehicle.
The app also allows you to:
report an absence to notify the driver;
download a copy of the transportation card if the original card provided by the school organization is lost;
add a photo of the student if the school organization has not already provided one.
How does the mTransport Parent app work?
The information provided by the Parent app depends on external factors:
information and access rights provided by the school organization (email addresses of authorized contacts);
use of the mTransport Driver app on board the vehicle so the system can track run progress.
Your school organization is responsible for the following aspects:
Transportation registration, runs, stops, schedules, contact data associated with students, parent access, notification level settings, smooth daily operations (in coordination with the transport company), and complaint management.
mTransport is responsible for the following aspects:
Technical operation of the app and mTransport features.
